Creation Location: Assembly Required

| August 30, 2016

An exciting event is coming up on Saturday, Sept 10, in the afternoon at the Fox Creek School. It is called ” Creation Location: Assembly Required.”

Starting at noon the Glass House Collective, Canada’s only Mobile Glass Blowing Studio from Calgary, will be demonstrating glass blowing. Some audience members will be able to participate in this and everyone may take part in most of our other art activities.

We will have lots of activities for adults as well as children, all at no cost.

There will be Vellum Forests, Zentangle, Spring Roll Making, a Scrapbooking project, Caricatures, Acrylic painting, Sketching, Mosaic Totems, Crayon Drip Art and Kreative Kidz Krafting with lots to make and do for the kids.  We will also have a portrait artist and a demonstration of chain saw wood carving.  What a terrific way to spend your afternoon with us being creative.

The Playground Society will be on site with a fundraising BBQ raising money to rebuild the upper elementary playground.

School students will be treated to glass blowing demonstrations during the school day on Friday, Sept 9.

A huge thank you to the FCS Parent Council for sponsoring this great day for our students.  Other sponsors are the Town of Fox Creek Parks and Recreation Department, the CRC and the Fox Creek Municipal Library.

Our chain saw demo has had to cancell but we are happy to have a local carver demonstrating the craft.
