Details: This statutory plan proposes a set of development policies for the downtown areas that are roughly between Campground Road and 3 Street E, bordered by Highway 43 to the south and 2A Avenue to the north (see map on page 2 for details).
This plan is in alignment with the Town of Fox Creek Municipal Development Plan 775-2016. It encompasses the local residents’ vision for the downtown over the next twenty-five years, with an inclusion of options to improve the downtown mobility, streetscape and public spaces, as well as attainable implementation strategies.

Land Use Bylaw 778-2016 Date: September 12, 2016 Time: 6:10 p.m. Details: This bylaw proposes rules and regulations for development of land in Fox Creek for each land use district (zone) as well as the process of making decisions for development permit applications.
In addition to the adoption of existing land use rules from the Town’s Bylaw 662-2007, this new bylaw incorporates newly-approved community development standards set by Town of Fox Creek Municipal Development Plan 775-2016 and Downtown Area Redevelopment Plan 777-2016. This bylaw aims to apply modernized community development standards to fulfill the community’s vision in the next twenty-five years. Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Bylaw 779-2016 Date: September 12, 2016 Time: 6:20 p.m. Details: This bylaw proposes the establishment of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) for the Town of Fox Creek. This section is formerly included in the Town’s Land Use Bylaw 662-2007. Now it becomes a stand-alone bylaw. This is a continuation of the existing practices of the SDAB. Public Hearings are typically held in the Council Chambers at the Fox Creek Town Administrations Building (102 Kaybob Drive) during regular council meetings, unless otherwise advertised. Public Hearing notices are usually advertised in the Fox in Focus for two weeks after the Council sets a public hearing date
Written comments are to be forwarded to the Development Officer at the Town Administrations by the time/date specified in the notice. Individuals registered to speak at the Public Hearing will be heard first. All other presentations or comments may be heard after those who registered.
Presentation time may be limited to five (5) minutes. Council may extend these limits. To register in advance, contact the Development Officer at 780-622-3896 by the time/date specified in the notice. Those wishing to make a presentation are asked to bring 7 copies of their presentation for Council and the recording secretary.
