Elementary Track and Field Day

| June 6, 2016

Friendly competition and encouragement was shared by everyone at the Fox Creek School’s Elementary Track and Field day on June 3rd.

Grades kindergarten through grade six participated in a variety of events. Events included: 50 m, 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, Frisbee throw, ball throw, obstacle course, skipping, long jump, hurdles and a new three legged race.

Boasting their participation ribbons, the boys and girls would run as hard as they could to cross the finish line, while friends, parents and classmates cheered from the sidelines. This year, placing ribbons were brought back from a brief absence.

For the second year, the lunch concession was fully operated and sponsored by Pembina Pipeline Corporation staff.  Hot dogs, chips and juice were provided free of charge.

The weather was great for the fun day and the Fox Creek School was very grateful for the volunteer leaders and Pembina providing lunch.
