Mixed Northern Curling Playdowns

Troy & Sarah DeCiccio compete this weekend in the Mixed Northern Curling Playdowns in Sherwood Park. Best of Luck!

Update #1 – Troy & Sarah DeCiccio & team played a close curling game this morning vs Doug Baird’s Edmonton team, however lost 7-5. Next game is this evening @ 7 pm against Aaron Bartling’s team from Spruce Grove.

Curling update #2, Feb. 27 – Troy and Sarah DeCiccio and team curled another close game last night, taking a 4-6 loss. They will be curling in the C Event, next game is 10 am this morning. Best of Luck!

Curling update #3, Feb. 27  – Troy and Sarah DeCiccio and team won 4-2! Their next game is at 2:30 pm

Curling update #4, Feb. 27 – Troy and Sarah DeCiccio and team won 6-2! Their next game is at 7 pm tonight.

Last Curling update, Feb. 28 – Troy and Sarah DeCiccio and team lost their game last night, 8-4.


For the Third Year, A Local Couple compete in the Northern Mixed Curling Playdowns

Troy and Sarah DeCiccio of Fox Creek and Joe and Sam Vrolson from Whitecourt will be competing this weekend, Feb. 26-29th, at the Sherwood Park Curling Club in the Mixed Northern Playdowns.

The DeCiccio team is one of 19 teams and only three move on to the Mixed Curling Provincials, March 30 – April 3, in Edmonton.

This is the third year the local couple have competed in the Mixed Curling Districts. They are sponsored by Marnevic Construction Ltd.

Their first game is this Friday, February 26 at 10 am against Doug Baird’s team from the Avonair curling club in Edmonton.
