gavel_courtThe Alberta Justice Court convened Monday, April 27. Judge, J. A Watson, presided.

Scheduled to appear were 33 adults who were facing 120 charges. Seven adults were scheduled for trial and there were two youth matters. Four warrants were issued and of the 49 traffic tickets; 28 were for speeding.



Miles Crowell was fined $230 for a failure to hold a valid drivers license charge.

David Sukow pled guilty to a failure to follow the rules of the road charge and was fined $115.

Jeremy Francis was fined $115 for a failure to yield traffic violation charge.

Nathan Nickerson was fined $2075 for driving a motor vehicle with no insurance.

Bradford Campbell failed to remain at an accident scene, following crashing his company truck into a home in Edson on Jan. 16, 2013. He pled guilty to assault charges, plus failure to appear and attend court charges. He was fined $1500, $800, $150 and $200, ordered to pay $1000 restitution to the homeowner and $2500 to the company for the vehicle.

Gladys Dreaver was revoked her driver’s license for one year, fined $1000 for a driving over .08 charge and fined $500 for failure to comply with probation conditions.

Peace Bond

Kasey Sutcliffe entered into a six month peace bond facing a theft under $5000 charge.

The next Provincial Court date in Fox Creek is May 25th.
