New Art Exhibit in the library!

 Urban Animals

In six sets of three paintings each, Edmonton artist, Jason Carter illustrates the movement of six different animals from the wild into urban settings. The bright, bold colours draw us into the animals’ stories in these delightful paintings. What a fun way to look at wild animals now living in an urban world.

The exhibit, entitled, Urban Animals, will be on display through December 20 at the library and is a must see. We also have the book Urban Animals which tells the story in words and pictures.

These paintings are part of a collection put together by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts which is sponsored by TREX (Travelling Exhibitions), Syncrude, the Art Gallery of Alberta and the Government of Alberta.

We hope you will come in and enjoy the show.
