Alberta Handmade Soap Co to gift celebrities at the MTV Movie Awards

| April 10, 2014

mtv-gift-ahscA piece of Alberta will find its way to into celebrity’s hands in Beverly Hills, California this week.

Alberta Handmade Soap Co, based just outside Little Smoky (47 kilometers northwest of Fox Creek), is pleased to announce they will participate in an invitation-only luxury celebrity gift lounge hosted by GBK Productions, in association with The Artisan Group®.

One hundred celebrities will receive a special sized bar of the company’s new Bergamot & Tarragon Leaves Handmade Soap, a scent released specifically for this event.

About The Owner

Originally from Oregon, USA, owner Amy Garrett lives and makes soap just outside Little Smoky, on her husband’s parent’s farm, with her husband and four children, ages 18, 17, 9 and 7.

Making soap went from an idea for her wedding favours for her marriage to Alberta resident and Marnevic employee, William Garrett, to a full time obsession in very little time.

She knows she is blessed to be able to have a successful business doing what she enjoys and has the support of a large group of family and friends who are all very supportive customers.

Knowing she’s offering people the best skin care she can give is a gift in itself, she never gets tired of hearing another new customer come back to say “I can’t believe how good my skin feels!”

About The Soap

Alberta Handmade Soap Co’s soaps are created in small batches from scratch with a custom blend of oils and butters including olive oil and cocoa butter, plus soothing oatmeal and clarifying kaolin clay, that produces a luxurious bar of soap that cleans without over drying, and is suitable for all skin types.

Their fragrances have been proven to be non-irritating for sensitive skin, even in people who normally cannot use scented products, but there are unscented varieties available as well. Their soaps contain no SLS, petroleum, phthalates, detergents, or formaldehyde.

In addition to soap, they make and sell lip balm in a variety of flavours, lotion and body butter, fizzing bath bombs, and more, also all made with their own exclusive blends of the best ingredients available.

They offer custom wedding favour soap, made to order with the bride and groom’s desired scent and colour, and local customers (from Fox Creek to Valleyview) can request special products and gift sets by emailing info@albertasoapcompany.com

In Late April, full sized bars will be available on their website at www.albertasoapcompany.com, and then in May at the Valleyview Farmer’s Market.
