It’s been a number of years since a barbershop has opened their doors in Fox Creek.

A new business, called Crew Cutz, located upstairs from the Home Hardware Building Supplies on 1st Avenue, opened on Jan. 15.

Kiley Shepherd, a certified hair stylist with 14 years’ experience, attended Marvel College in 1999 in Edmonton, graduating in 2000.

She’s providing a specialized salon strictly for men and boys cuts. She also offers men grey coverage color.

Jacob Scobey was among Kiley's first customers.

In the next few weeks she will complete her razor shaving course and provide those services mid-February.

She loves her new business and is thrilled to meet new clients. Kiley is very grateful to her family and friends for their support and help getting the barbershop ready to open.

Her hours are: Monday and Tuesday, 10 am – 4 pm, Thursday and Friday 2-8 pm. Closed Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Walk-ins welcomed.
