Sweet Valentine’s Dance

| February 19, 2013
Dance this way; the chicken dance, the Texas line dance, Y.M.C.A and many more musical selections rocked the school’s small gym on Feb. 14.

The sweet Valentine’s Day dance for the elementary classes, Grade one to three and Grade four to six, was organized by music teacher, Miss Colleen Slocum.

The music program sold water bottles, donated by Freson IGA and candy bags for a toonie.

Within a few hours, a total of $411 was collected for new musical instruments for the school for all students to enjoy.

“I am so proud of the kids. Thank you to everyone for your support,” said Ms. Slocum.

Ms. Slocum is also looking for any local talent to showcase their musical abilities, please contact her at the school if you are interested in making a difference in the children’s music class.купить африканское сафари диего
