Waste Not in Public
You know the saying, someone is always watching?
Well, it’s been brought to our attention, that on more than one occasion, people of all ages, kids and adults, are using the school yard and swimming pool area as a bathroom pit stop.
Residents in the area are noticing and are “disgusted” with the public park being used as a bathroom.
There are public washrooms at the gas stations, IGA and restaurants.
“It sure is not something I like to see when I look out the window and they are sitting to go or just standing there,” was one of the email messages submitted.
There is a $115 by-law fine for wasting on public land.
So before you think that no one notices, someone does, before you think that the public park is a bathroom, think again and keep in mind, children play at the park.

The town should consider putting in one or two portable restrooms about the community. I lived across from a park in town and on many occasions had children asking to use my restroom. Yes there are locations down town but that is very far from the parks.
That is disgusting, I would hope as a society that is constantly evolving we would be past such caveman behaviors. To think that people are doing the really is disturbing since our children play in these areas and who wants their children walking around in that . If I see someone doing such things I will be taking their pictures and putting it up for all to see – you can be sure of that !!!!
