The last day of school, June 28,  was celebrated by recognizing student’s achievements throughout the year.

The ceremony started with Ms. Sophia Argyropoulos’ grade five class drumming under Ms. Caroline Weber’s instruction.

Vice Principal Dwayne Mytrunec then presented Safety Patrol Certificates and AMA pins to a “very dedicated crew of grade four to six students.”  He extended appreciation to the patrollers for ensuring children crossed the street safely and motorists stopped for pedestrians.

Track and Field related awards for:  ’Awesome Kid’, expressing ‘Sportsmanship’, ‘Never Giving Up’, greatest ‘All Around Athlete’ and shining rays of ‘Sunshine’ were announced for kindergarten to Grade 6 students.
