Home Hardware not only has a new look, new owners and various new items, it is celebrating a Grand Opening on Thursday.

New owners, Randy and Heather McKinnon and their staff, have been busy finishing up renovations and expansions.

The McKinnon’s are working on expanding the inventory to meet the needs of the residents and companies in the Fox Creek area and look forward to helping you with your building needs.

February 6, 2012, marked Home Hardware Building Supplies’ change of ownership to the McKinnon’s from Valleyview, from longtime owner, Jeanne Buckmaster of Fox Creek.

The proximity to Valleyview and similarity between the two towns is what attracted to couple to invest in the Fox Creek branch, said Heather McKinnon.  Since 2005, the McKinnon’s have owned and operated the Valleyview Home Hardware.

Randy, a volunteer firefighter for Valleyview, helps coach the junior boys’ basketball team. Heather enjoys curling during the winter months and spends a lot of time running their children, Danielle aged 12 and Nathan aged 10, to different sporting activities throughout the year.  Camping, fishing and quadding fill their summer months.

You are invited to come down to the store on Thursday June, 21, at 10 am for the ribbon cutting.  The Grand Opening will run from June 21 – 23.
