| June 5, 2012

Long jump, hurdles, 50 m, 100, 200 and 400 m races, Frisbee throw, Jump Rope for Heart and ball throw, kept the kids active at the school fields.  New this year, due to no high jump, was an obstacle course timed event set up in the playground.

Divided into age groups, guided by volunteer leaders, the students displayed sportsmanship, teamwork and their best efforts.

Parent Council and volunteer helpers’ barbequed lunch and operated the concession.

Awesome Kid, Most Sportsmanship, Athletic, Sunshine and Never Give Up awards will be announced at the school award ceremony the end of June.
