Local Businesses Invited to Participate in Career Day

Fox Creek School will be hosting a Career Day on Nov. 24.

This will be in conjunction with the Health and Wellness Fair hosted by the CHAMP Team  (Choosing Healthy Attitudes Modeling Pals), a Mental Health Capacity building project.

Various local businesses have brought forward concerns about the need to train local students to fill upcoming vacancies in the work force.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite local businesses into the school to talk to our students about the various careers available in Fox Creek and area and what education and training you, as employers, would like to see future employees have.

For the afternoon we will have booths set up for businesses to talk to interested students individually.

Time will also be set aside for businesses who would like to make a short presentation to the students as a group. Presentations should be about 15-20 minutes in length.

We appreciate your help in making this afternoon a success.
