Chamber’s Salute to Business – Nominations are Open

In our busy lives it is refreshing to encounter someone who goes a little beyond what is required.  Now is the time to recognise those good folks.

It is time once again to nominate the business you feel deserves the title of Business of the Year.

Simply write the name of the business on the nomination form, explain why you feel they should receive an award, provide your contact information, and submit it to Fox Creek Chamber of Commerce before Tuesday, 22 November 2011.

Awards will be presented on 24 November 2011.

Business nominees must hold valid business licence from the Town of Fox Creek but need not be a Chamber of Commerce member.

Nomination forms must be completed fully for the entry to considered.  Your name and telephone number must be included.  You are welcome to submit a nomination for any or all of the four categories, but only one ballot per person per category will be accepted.

Nominations must be received in our office before noon on Tuesday, 22 November 2011.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to consider late submissions.  In the event of a tie or in the case of no nominations, the Fox Creek Chamber of Commerce Board will make the final decision.  All nominees will receive public mention.

Categories

1) Business of the Year (9 or fewer employees)

2) Business of the Year (10 or more employees)

Has a history of business excellence, consistently provides quality products and services, actively stands behind excellent employee-employer relationships, makes significant contributions to the good of the community.

3) People’s Choice Award

Overall excellence in customer service, goes above and beyond, demonstrates community spirit and integrity, actively works toward making Fox Creek a friendlier and more enjoyable place to live.

4) Non-Profit Organisation

Enhances our community through consistent support, improvement, and events, actively demonstrates extra effort to the community as a whole.
